Upton is the container and TOFC hub on the SVL, with trainloads of the modern equivalent of less-than-carload flowing into and out of town, whether it be by rail or rubber.
As with most TOFC terminals though, only a select few trains actually stop here. Most will continue ahead to Victoria.
