Cavanaugh is in the midst of urban renewal on SVL, with new industries coming in after diligent work by the marketing department. In addition to the existing scrap mill and large brewery, SVL is adding service to a car ferry operation and harbor warehouses.
As trains depart Cavanaugh, they head to the next town of Dayton.
